Refund Policy

How cancellations and refunds work for RankThroughAI subscriptions, who to ask, and how long it takes.

Last updated: 31 July 2026

The short version

  • Cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
  • 14-day refund on a first payment. If the product is not right for you, ask within 14 days of your first subscription payment and we will refund it. You do not need to give a reason.
  • Statutory rights apply on top. If the law where you live gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights win.
  • Refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record — but you can ask either of us and we will sort it out.

1. Who handles refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for every RankThroughAIpurchase. Paddle took the payment, so Paddle issues the refund. Paddle’s own Refund Policy and Buyer Terms apply alongside this one.

You do not need to work out which of us to contact. Email us at support@rankthroughai.com and we will authorise it with Paddle, or go to Paddle directly using the options in section 6.

2. Your statutory right to withdraw

Many countries give consumers a cooling-off period to cancel an online purchase for any reason and get their money back. Paddle honours these periods, counted from the date of purchase:

PeriodWhere you are
14 daysEU / EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland
7 daysCanada, Brazil, South Korea, China
5 daysSingapore

One caveat worth knowing in advance: for digital services, the statutory withdrawal right can be reduced or lost once you have started using the service within the cooling-off period, because you asked for it to begin immediately. Our own 14-day policy in section 3 is not conditional in that way, so in practice it is usually the more generous route.

3. Our 14-day refund

If you subscribe and decide RankThroughAI is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of your first subscription payment and we will refund that payment in full. No reason required, and using the product during those days does not disqualify you — trying it properly is the point.

This applies to the first payment on a new subscription, monthly or annual.

4. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling before the renewal date is the reliable way to avoid a charge, and you keep full access until the period you have already paid for ends.

If a renewal catches you out — you meant to cancel, or you had not used the account — contact us within 14 days of the charge. Where the account shows little or no use since the renewal we will refund it. We would rather do that than keep money from someone who did not want to spend it.

For annual renewals we will email you before the charge is taken, so you have the chance to cancel first.

5. What we generally cannot refund

Outside the situations above, and subject always to your statutory rights in section 7:

  • Subscription periods that are substantially used. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period rather than refunding it part-way through.
  • One-off add-on purchases and additional capacity that has already been consumed — extra AI visibility checks or AI article generations, for example. These cost us money the moment they run, at the search and AI providers we buy from.
  • Accounts terminated by us for a breach of the Terms and Conditions.

These are defaults, not rules we apply mechanically. If your situation is genuinely unfair, write to us and explain — we will look at it.

6. How to request a refund

Any of these routes works:

  • Email support@rankthroughai.com from the address on your account. Include the date of the charge if you have it.
  • Use the link in the receipt email Paddle sent you when you were charged.
  • Go to paddle.net, Paddle’s buyer portal, and look up your purchase with the email you paid with.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible, within 14 days of approval.

7. Local law always wins

Where consumer protection law in your country, or this policy, or Paddle’s policy, gives you different rights, the highest level of rights available to you applies. Nothing here removes or limits a right you have by law.

8. Before you raise a chargeback

If something has gone wrong with a payment, please contact us first. A chargeback takes weeks to resolve through your bank and usually suspends the account while it is open. We can almost always fix the problem the same day, and we would rather refund you than have you fight your bank for it.

9. How to cancel

Cancel from the billing area inside the app, or from the receipt Paddle emailed you. Cancellation stops future renewals immediately and your access continues to the end of the current period. You can resubscribe later. Export anything you want to keep before your access ends — see the Privacy Policy for how long data is kept after an account closes.
